She is a very good musician ......But......Paul McCartney was the first billionaire musician I believe . I guess it's all relative as Einstein said ....During my time there will be no other band or single act that can surpass The Beatles body of work including all their solo careers. Yeah Yeah Yeah !
Nope. What I said was (and is true): She is the first billionaire in the music industry to make her money predominantly from her musical accomplishments. Paul's money comes in large part also from his holdings of the rights to other people's music. And I think Rhianna was the first one to become a billionaire but she also has a makeup line and has done endorsements etc.
I don’t k ow her work, but from what I’ve read, I feel very positive about her.
Your writing about your experience was illuminating. You’re not “just” an accomplished scientist, but also a gifted communicator. It’s easy for so many of us to like you, and think of you as a “friend” because we also share your values.
Ok, you’ve also shown us mind blowing, acid-flashback kind of stuff, too.
Thank you for your essay, and for the videos—the closest I'll come to witness. Taylor performing before such vast crowds, with the aim of being heard by everyone, reminds me of the Beatles who quit touring because they couldn't hear themselves. Your videos give a clear view, but I must admit (without faulting anyone) I couldn't understand anything. I hope it was better for you and the audience. It's clear, though, that the sound technicians have given it every possible consideration.
I can't imagine the complexity of travel, the staging and choreographies, and the crews needed to pull off such a feat in cities all around the world. Thanks for the hints you give.
And it was wonderful to see her pause and take it all in: "Wow. Don't let this moment get away. Embrace it." Whatever her precise thoughts, it's truly humbling to think: "They all came for me."
It's a daunting challenge, indeed that artists undertake to put on a show like this and take it all around the world! If it weren't for the giant screens, it wouldn't make sense to go if your goal was to see her ... her moves, her facial expressions, etc. But I think most people just want to be in the same room as the artist they have paid so dearly to see. Look at the crowds that Paul McCartney still draws! If we're being truthful, he can no longer sing. But audiences of vast numbers of people don't care. He is a former Beatle, and they can say they saw him live. I missed the Beatles live, and it's one of my biggest regrets. I was glad to see Taylor. And yes, 10M+ people went to see her. She is dearly loved and for good reasons. She loves in return!
Brilliant comment. Your perspective on SirPaul is spot on. Worked with a number of bands, long ago and far away…but regrettably, never even saw the Beatles…the closest I came was meeting Yoko in the Dakota when I stayed with family. She was very nice in our very brief encounter. A regret is that I never was able to arrange for you to meet Sir Paul. Came close, but not close enough.
That’s an excellent summary. I have not been privileged to be able to attend one of her concerts. What is certain is she is a remarkable individual and rightly deserves the praise that she receives, it’s a pity more individuals who are in a position of power and influence do not have the same generosity, humility and openness.

So the statement I made about Taylor is true.
Think of what you're saying
You can get it wrong and you think it's alright
But we can work it ...we can work it out !
Beatles music still rules ! lol
Of course it still rules. And they were the first to turn music into high art.
I'm not fighting you on that one!!!
Have a Happy Christmas Carolyn ....Looking forward to read your Book(s)

It’s a privilege, Carolyn.
Thanks

Thank you! And obviously, I love her and think she more than deserves all that she has earned.
